I am a Ph.D. student at Jamia Millia Islamia. Photography has given a meaning and purpose to my life by allowing me to cherish all the unrecognized and mundane moments of everyday life. For me, the idea of photography or any form of art for that matter, is very similar to what Li-Young Lee observes about poetry, that it is a "gate to what contains the thing. Go to the thing"
